What I do

ONE: I write copy around a campaign or product

I am a curious person. The copy I write is anchored in lots of research and sometimes peppered with pop culture references. Available for editorial/advertorial/technical copywriting, social media, and artist text preparation.

TWO: Ghostwrite
(available year-round, not just Halloween week)

I have worked with international policymakers, designers, and tech startup CEOs to write blogs, speeches, web copy, or newsletters.

If you love to write but have a million other things to do, I will take care of that. And don’t worry, ghosts live between 50-400 years so that’s plenty of time to fine-tune the copy.

THREE: I write pitches for startups

A few years ago, I went to my first hackathon and pitched an idea for a funny app. My idea was one of the most successful out of the 90+ that were pitched (and one of the 22 that yielded a product that weekend). Only 15 minutes after the pitch ended, I had a full team lined up. Well, I had two teams but had to turn one down. I have helped startup founders do the same: create a memorable story that sticks. I also offer feedback on your visuals with a designer’s eye.

FOUR: Consulting
(by the hour or by the day)

My icon, Michael Scott, once said "There are four kinds of business: tourism, food service, railroads, and sales. And hospitals slash manufacturing. And air travel."  This must mean I know business because I have worked in banking, telecom, non-profits, government, food service, advertising, and tech. I also have experience with a wide range of processes like writing proposals, interviewing,  running a video/photo shoot, managing budgets, preparing a pitch, doing casting, etc. If you have an idea for a new venture and want to run it by someone, let’s talk.
