Silent Partner: HIV in Marriage Documentary

I coordinated the post-production of a documentary about the rise in HIV infections among married couples in Kenya.

The Silent Partner is a documentary that calls attention to a shift in the sub-Saharan Africa HIV epidemics. The film examines the risk of virus infections within marriage and highlights the challenges faced by married women who cannot practice abstinence or control the faithfulness of their husbands.

Following its premiere in December 2008 in Nairobi, Kenya, I coordinated screenings on Capitol Hill, in the European Parliament, and at various international conferences/roundtables such as the U.N. Conference on Population and Development.
